Bluestone Engineering is made up of a conglomerate of engineers and geologists. Below are the biographies of our key staff.
Lisa H. Myers, PE is the president of Bluestone Engineering, Inc. Previously she served as the president of Myers Engineering for nine years. She has over 20 years of experience in environmental engineering applications in both the public and private sector. Previous work experience includes the Philadelphia Water Department, General Electric, and Weston Solutions, Inc. Her specialties are environmental compliance, regulatory interaction, waste management, and site investigation/remediation. Lisa holds a bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia Institute of Technology and a masters degree in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University. She is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and Delaware.
Tracy Jeremias, PG, PMP is a project manager at Bluestone Engineering, Inc. with responsibilities for oversight and management on a variety of site assessment, investigation and remediation projects. Prior to joining Bluestone, she worked in the environmental consulting and construction industry for over 15 years as a project manager and estimator at several companies, including, Haines & Kibblehouse, Groundwater Sciences and Dunn Geoscience. Tracy holds a bachelors degree from the University of Delaware and is a registered professional geologist (PG) in the State of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the PA Council of Professional Geologists (PCPG) where she is currently serving on their education committee and a member of the Philadelphia Metro Chapter of the American Water Resources Association (AWRA). Tracy is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and an EPA AHERA Certified Asbestos Inspector.
Virginia Pohlman, PE is a senior engineer at Bluestone Engineering Inc. with responsibilities for regulatory reviews, compliance evaluations, field investigations, audits, risk assessments, feasibility studies and remediation. She is involved in all aspects of the decision making processes for multimedia waste investigation and remediation projects. Prior to joining Bluestone, she was a project manager and engineer for over 15 years working with military, industrial and government clients on hazardous and industrial waste projects. Virginia holds bachelor and masters degrees in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University. She is a Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, Virginia and Maryland.
Richard M. Ley, PG is a senior geologist at Bluestone Engineering, Inc. with responsibilities for field services, project oversight and technical management of site assessment, investigation, and remediation projects. Prior to joining Bluestone, he worked in the environmental consulting and construction industry for over 20 years as a project and technical manager for several companies, including RML Environmental, Weston Solutions, Inc., MARCOR Remediation, Inc. and Lewis Environmental Group. Ricks specialties include Phase I and Phase II investigations, chemical and biological high hazard project planning and execution and technical reporting. Rick holds a bachelors degree in geology from Waynesburg College and a masters degree in environmental science (water resources) from Miami University (OH). He is a registered Professional Geologist in Pennsylvania.
Everett Mount has over 25 years experience in industrial hygiene, safety management and toxicology. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He has provided comprehensive consultation to clients throughout the US and abroad in Indonesia, Pakistan and Italy. His current clients include Fortune 500 companies, numerous privately owned businesses, AMTRAK, major municipalities and aligned consulting firms.
Prior to starting his own consulting firm, Everett was the Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomics Practice Leader for the commercial division of Royal and SunAlliance. In this role, he led the implementation of a unique risk-based industrial hygiene and ergonomics programs and provided guidance to all accident prevention consultants. He also provided specialized support to hundreds of clients in the manufacturing, technology, higher education and health care sectors.
Everett also has significant experience in the research environment. During his tenure as the Safety and Industrial Hygiene Professional at a the FMC Corporation Research and Development Center in Princeton, New Jersey, he led the industrial hygiene program, safety performance programs, the emergency response team and the development of company specific worker exposure limits for pesticides. Prior to this role, Everett served for several years as the Inhalation Toxicologist for the Corporate Toxicology group where he served as study director for 52 inhalation toxicology studies. These studies were used to support regulatory requirements and several have been published.
Shay Drumbore is the Office Manager for Bluestone Engineering. Previous work experience has included payroll accounting at Haines & Kibblehouse, Inc. as well as administrative services. She supports company operations by maintaining office operations and procedures; preparing payroll; tracking billing, budget, and expenses; and ensuring that all personnel files are up to date and secure. Shay maintains office efficiency and keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports and summarizing information to identify trends. Shay holds a degree in Legal Administration from Allentown Business School.
Aaron Myers is an intern with Bluestone Engineering. He will graduate with a degree in Environmental Science from Franklin and Marshall College in May 2013. His primary field of interest is geochemistry. At Franklin and Marshall, Aaron received funding from the Cargill Foundation to research Biogeochemical Processes at Big Spring Run for the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
